Very Rare 1875 "D" Ace - One of the Highest Graded at PMG

Fr. 24 $1 1875 Legal Tender PMG Choice Very Fine 35 EPQ.
This "D" 1875 Ace is an extreme rarity in all grades with Track & Price listing only 21 known examples. The highest third party graded piece to ever appear at auction was the PMG 40 which we auctioned in April 2008 for just under $9,000. This note is one grade lower, but certainly its visual equal, with excellent margins, bright colors, and PMG's important "Exceptional Paper Quality" comment. PMG has never graded a Fr. 24 higher than 53.
