    High End Gem $5 Educational - Fr. 269 - PMG 66 EPQ

Fr. 269 $5 1896 Silver Certificate PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.
A stunning Gem example of the middle number of the three Educational Fives. It is also the middle number for rarity with a total population of 663 according to Track and Price. The common number, Fr. 268, is represented by 1049 examples and the scarcest number Fr. 270 totals 394. PMG has graded 244 Fr. 269s with only 18 of them at or above this level. The note itself is very well margined, well printed and fully bright. Our most recent sale of a PMG 66 EPQ was in January of 2012 where one realized $19,500.
