    Description

Original Half Pack of Black Eagles

Fifty Consecutive Fr. 236 $1 1899 Silver Certificates.
This half pack runs from serial number X22763351-400A. It is contained in a brown paper band carrying a November 1933 penciled date, along with several sets of initials and the comment "$50". The grades are mixed with the final note grading XF with some minor stains and the top note grading Choice About New. The huge majority should third party grade 63, with a few better, and a few worse. Original groupings of this length are seldom seen in Large Type, and this would make a great display item, although we suspect, sadly, that the max value would be in breaking these up and having them graded.
    (Total: 50 notes)
