    It is only a truly extraordinary sale which features two examples of our first $50 Legal Tender note. This piece, although carrying the same technical grade as the note above, displays substantially more evidence of restoration, although the restorations have been professionally executed with considerable attention to detail. The margins are close all around, touching the design only in a few spots, and the colors are indeed adequate to support the PCGS Apparent Very Fine 20 grade. Expect to see bidding reach or exceed...
