    Pleasing $10000 1900 Gold Certificate

Fr. 1225h $10,000 1900 Gold Certificate PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ.
It is hard to find examples of this unredeemable design with the EPQ or PPQ grade modifier, especially in grades of 64 and below. The last example of this design at this third party grade level that we auctioned was a PCGS 64PPQ Fr. 1225h that brought $7050 in September 2014. The current offering is attractive, with nice inks and natural paper wave. "Exceptional Paper Quality" is spelled out on the third party back label, and it also has the usual perforation cancellation by the United States Treasury. The PMG label mis-identifies this note with an incorrect Friedberg number.
