    Description

Fr. 1225e $10,000 1900 Gold Certificate PMG Very Fine 30 Net.
A Friedberg number that is many times scarcer than its later design mate of 1225h. Earlier examples of this unredeemable uniface design are often payable to large national banks. This piece was issued to the Corn Exchange National Bank of Philadelphia and is endorsed on the back by an assistant cashier of that bank. This note has the usual cancellations and was previously mounted. Rust and a spindle hole are also mentioned on the third party label.
