    Description

    Handsome $1,000 Gold Certificate

Fr. 1220 $1,000 1922 Gold Certificate Choice Very Fine. New to the census and well past the halfway point for grade, this $1000 is a full VF by anyone's estimation, and has a fair amount of claim to the next highest grade. All four corners are very slightly rounded, but the note is free of marks, repairs, restorations or problems of any kind. The paper surfaces are strictly original, and in spite of its circulation, the note has retained full, bright color on both sides. A very handsome piece that is sure to attract considerable bidder attention.
