    Fr. 1212 $100 1882 Gold Certificate PCGS Extremely Fine 40. The two major grading services have graded ten of the 42 known Fr. 1212's. PMG has graded seven, with the highest a VF 35. PCGS has graded three, with this 40 and one other being the highest. The note has the color and centering of a Choice New example. The fact that the orange back has remained at full color is remarkable. Fr. 1212 is an important number in any grade, and very much so at this level.
