    Delightful Fr. 1180 $20 "Technicolor"

Fr. 1180 $20 1905 Gold Certificate PCGS Apparent Extremely Fine 40.
A delightful Technicolor $20 that has dark inks and paper originality. There is a minor area of discoloration at the left end of the back which has been mentioned on the third party holder, but is of little consequence. The last two third party graded examples that we have auctioned in the XF grade range have been a PCGS XF 40PPQ that went for $13,800 in January 2012 and a PCGS XF 45 piece that crossed the auction block at $18,400 in January 2011. Tonight's example faces up well and gives its next owner plenty of grade for the buck.
