One of Only Five 1812 $100 Notes

Fr. TN-2 Hessler X69 Unlisted $100 Act of June 30, 1812 Treasury Note Choice About New. This splendid wide-margin remainder carries plate letter B and has light handling at both the left- and right-hand extremities. The paper is thick and there are red and blue silk fibers scattered throughout this delightful note. The most recent tally of this rarity rests at a mere five recorded with all being remainders. Its documented provenance starts with F.C.C. Boyd, and then on to John J. Ford. Tonight is a fantastic opportunity to acquire a major American rarity from the James O'Neal Collection.
