    Elusive 1915 Atlanta $10 FRBN

Fr. 811 $10 1915 Federal Reserve Bank Note PMG Very Fine 25.
A really rare number with Track and Price reporting only 7 known examples. This unreported number will bring that total to 8. The most recent sale of a Friedberg 811 was back in 2014, when a different PMG 25 auctioned for $9,775. The note appears worthy of a comment-free holder, but PMG apparently spotted something, as they have commented "Retouched". We have wasted an irrational amount of time attempting to find the defect and it eludes us. Evenly circulated, well-margined, good-looking for the grade, and rare, rare, rare.
