    Description

Fr. 359 $5 1890 Treasury Note PCGS Extremely Fine 45. The featured portrait of Union General Thomas is perhaps the least recognizable in the Treasury Note series, but his nickname "the rock of Chicamauga" is very well known to even casual students of the Civil War. This richly colored example retains most of its original crispness and represents excellent value for the collector of the popular fancy back series.
