    Description

High Grade 1891 $20 Silver Certificate Rarity

Fr. 320 $20 1891 Silver Certificate PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.
After a decade and a half of PCGS and PMG grading currency, the picture is pretty much as clear as it will get for indication of grade rarity. Series 1891 $20s are listed with seven different Friedberg numbers, depending on seal types and signature combinations. To date, just two finer examples of the type have been graded by both services combined, and neither has made a public auction appearance. If fact, this is the finest example offered at public auction in a half decade, last realizing $33,600. The prefect inks and cherry red seal are prefect for the grade and fit nicely into Myerson's incredible collection of grade rarities.
