    Fr. 252* $2 1899 Silver Certificate Star Note PMG Choice About Unc 58. Until the appearance of these lovely three consecutive Fr. 252 Stars, only seven examples were known, and only one of them was high grade. This note and its two sheet mates in the lots below are a significant discovery for the Star Note community. All three notes are gorgeous pieces that have been graded Choice About Unc 58 by PMG, and all three share the same comment, "Exceptional Paper Quality, Embossing & Color." The Murray book, which is getting a bit old at this point, values these notes at $2000 in AU-CU, his top grade.
