    Simply Spectacular Boardwalk Margined Black Eagle Ace

    Fr. 233 $1 1899 Silver Certificate PMG Superb Gem Unc 68 EPQ.
    PMG has graded only this note and one other Friedberg 233 at the Superb Gem Unc 68 EPQ level. More importantly, they have graded only seven 68s for all twelve Black Eagle numbers. A simply spectacular piece that could be called nothing but 68. Most 68s we have seen have been right on the line, where on any given day they could be 67 or 68. Not so with this spectacular piece. It is a 68 at a glance and remains so after careful examination.
