    Bright and Attractive Philadelphia $5 Demand Note

    Fr. 2 $5 1861 Demand Note PCGS Very Fine 30.
    Only about a half dozen examples of this Friedberg number are enumerated in the census with EF or higher grades. Of those, we would not be surprised to see half of them with minor impairments or repairs. This strikingly handsome piece is free of repairs and other problems that often plague Demand Notes. The signatures are excellent with bright paper and deeply printed design details.
