    Description

    Chambliss Fr. 123 Plate Note

Fr. 123 $10 1923 Legal Tender PCGS Gem New 66PPQ.
The plate note found on page 66 of The Comprehensive Catalog of U.S. Federal Large-Size Notes, 1861 - 1929 by Carlson R. Chambliss and Gene Hessler. Both major grading services have graded only nine higher and that is by a single grade point. Our examination results in noticing dark inks, white paper, and paper originality. We also wonder how the centering within its balanced margins could have been any more precise as our measurements reveal a deviation from perfection of less than one millimeter. This gorgeous Fr. 123 could certainly hold its own against any competitors.
