    Description

Fr. 1132-B $500 1918 Federal Reserve Note Fine. A decent example of this rare and sought after type. It's well margined with more color than one would expect for the grade, and it has a nice overall appearance. There is a cluster of small pinholes at the left end of the note, and a tiny repair of the blank paper in the top margin, but those are the only noteworthy problems on this evenly circulated, high denomination specimen, which has been off the market for over ten years since we sold it in our October, 1995 St. Louis sale.
