    Unique Minneapolis $500

Fr. 1132 $500 1918 Federal Reserve Note Very Good. This represents the first trip to the open market for this unique Minneapolis District $500 Fed. This key district is the only note missing from several nearly complete 1918 $500 sets and the competition for it should be quite strong in spite of its rather low grade. The surfaces of the note are soft, and a fair amount of the print area is slightly fuzzy. The note also has a hard horizontal fold, with a number of juncture holes along its central portion. Not a thing of beauty, but quite likely the only Minneapolis District $500 that will ever be available. No others are reported, even in museum or government hands.
