    The full Track & Price census for this rare type "a" $50 Chicago Red Seal Fed is ten pieces. Of those ten, this number has appeared only four times, representing two notes. An EF 45 sold twice, once in our 2008 sale of the Tom Flynn collection where it realized $69,000 and it resold in 2014 for $38,000. A VG 10 also auctioned twice, in 2012 for $4,600 and 2014 for $3,450. This note is new to the census, raising the total known to eleven. The only comment on the holder is "stains lightened."
