    Description

Lightly Handled Burke-Glass San Francisco $1,000 Federal Reserve Note

Fr. 1133-L $1,000 1918 Federal Reserve Note PMG About Uncirculated 55.
A wonderful example of this always popular issue in a very desirable grade. In April 2017, this note realized $51,700 on an estimate of $60,000-up. In its current holder, it certainly has the appearance of a 58 as the colors are bold, paper bright, and some serial number embossing is still visible. In August 2018, a PCGS 55 graded note realized $45,600. We will make our estimate this evening a bit more conforming and know the quality of this lightly handled large size high denomination will propel it past its original realization with us three years ago.

    Estimate: $55,000 - up.
