Boston District $1000 - One of Four Known

Fr. 1133-A $1,000 1918 Federal Reserve Note PMG Very Fine 30.
A welcome, new addition to the census which now stands at four pieces in total for the elusive Boston district. One of these pieces is held at the Smithsonian and is not available to general public. Prior to tonight's addition, only one of these notes had ever surfaced at public auction, with the most recent appearance occurring in 2007 where a PCGS VG 8 example sold for $25,300. Our best inclination is to estimate this note conservatively and let the market decide the verdict on this wonderful rarity.
