    Description

    Serial Number 9 1918 Philadelphia District $5

Low Serial Number C9A Fr. 783 $5 1918 Federal Reserve Bank Note PMG Choice Uncirculated 63.
Single digit serial number C9A greatly enhances this sharp looking Philadelphia FRBN Five. Friedberg 783 is not known for low numbers, although a few have appeared within recent years. The note has not been net graded although PMG accurately mentions tear repairs. The two minor side by side closed tears are at top center. Either way, this pretty FRBN is still one of just 63 pieces in the latest census.
