Fr. 814 $10 1918 Federal Reserve Bank Note PMG Choice Fine 15.
All $10 FRBNs are scarce to very rare, depending on their series date and district. Only six districts issued $10 FRBNs, making this a compact set to collect. The 1915 and 1918 series faces have Andrew Jackson at the far left; treasury seal and serial numbers are blue. The ornate green backs are similar to the $10 Federal Reserve Notes. Vignettes are Farming, engraved by Marcus Baldwin, at left and Industry, engraved by H. L. Chorlton, at right. This $10 Chicago FRBN is hard to find in all grades. There are less than 40 examples recorded by Track & Price. It has the Teehee-Burke and McCloud-McDougal signature combination. The back is very soiled left of center, but the note faces up well.
    From The Mike Coltrane Collection.
