Vivid Fr. 771 $2 St. Louis FRBN

Fr. 771 $2 1918 Federal Reserve Bank Note PMG Choice Very Fine 35.
All the St. Louis "Battleships" are less seen than their larger city brethren. This Friedberg number is comparatively easier to find than the previous two. It has the Elliott-Burke and White-Biggs signature combination. There are less than 100 known, with only a few being Uncirculated notes. A well above average St. Louis "Battleship" that is perfect for a multitude of topical sets. Ex: our 2016 Long Beach sale, lot 19176.
    From The Mike Coltrane Collection.
