About Uncirculated 55 EPQ.Inks are dark on this bond that has 38 coupons still attached, numbers 43 through 80. Patriotic sentiment was the driving force behind the sales of these bonds as this was a way to, "Remember the Maine" and support our troops who were serving in the Philippines to Puerto Rico and also points in-between. There is a statement on the third party back label that says this item is unaffected by issue in the coupons. We see an enlarged pinhole in coupon number 73. Nevertheless, this bond was still able to earn its important EPQ grade modifier.
