Rare Hawaii Islands $20 Face and Back Proofs
Hawaiian Islands $20 (1879) Pick 2p Face and Back ProofThese proofs were printed by the ABNCo on proof paper and mounted on card stock. The registry stub for the face proof has two folds as produced as it extends over the edge of the card stock. There is also some faint foxing along the bottom edge of the face. The back proof is missing a small notch of card stock at top center. These were payable in "silver coin." These Proofs were last available at the 1990 auction of the ABNCo archives. Any Kingdom of Hawaii paper money item is elusive. Crisp Uncirculated. (Total: 2 notes)
