    Description

PMG 20 Compound Interest Treasury Note

Fr. 190b $10 1864 Compound Interest Treasury Note PMG Very Fine 20.
Although not Net graded, PMG points out some defects on the back of the holder: "Pinholes, Tears, Minor Rust." All are accurate. The rust and tears are of little significance and fairly common for the grade. The pinholes are rather plentiful and distract somewhat. In the hands of a skilled restorer, this note could easily find its way into a comment free 30 holder as none of the problems seem insurmountable. The colors are excellent and the overprint, while not fully bright, is not terribly green either.
