    Fr. 1359 50¢ Third Issue Justice PMG Choice Uncirculated 63.
    An exceptional example of this very scarce number with "1" and "a" on the face which has far better margins than 90% of the two dozen or so examples extant. With the recent emphasis placed upon rare notes and high quality notes, this piece should see considerable bidding action as it combines those two elements to form a real prize for one lucky collector. As another cataloger added to a similarly graded Fr. 1359, "We have seen very few examples of this rare number that stand even a prayer of garnering a higher third-party grade than this very pretty piece." PMG has graded 15 examples of this number with four at this 63 level and nothing higher. Tiny pencil notations in the corners of the back indicate that this note was once in the collection of former ANA President Maurice Burgette.
