Fr. 1336 50c Third Issue Spinner Choice New. One of only a handful of truly Uncirculated examples of this rarest "1" and "a" type Spinner, the note has spectacularly deep original embossing, and not a hint of folds or circulation. The centering is somewhat typical, with three large and one small face margin, and the back is off-center to the left, just touching the edge. The note has a green offset smear at the left of the face and a black offset smear at the top of the back, but is certainly a more than presentable example of this classically rare Spinner. Even Milt Friedberg's example, which we sold in January, 1997, was a poorly centered XF.
