    Description

Fr. 1299 Milton 3R25.3f 25¢ Third Issue Inverted Surcharges PCGS Apparent Very Fine 35.
Unknown at the time of the printing of the Milton Encyclopedia, this unique note was lot 143 of the Ford XI sale. The Fr. 1299/1300 notes are always popular due to their solid front surcharges. To find one of these rare notes with an invert is remarkable. Although the paper has toned significantly, the bronze back corner surcharges are still clear and distinct.
