    Description

    Fr. 1255 10c With Inverted Plate Number Third Issue Superb Gem New. Singlehandedly the nicest example of this variety that your cataloger (who has seen thousands of fractionals in his day) has ever seen. There are four utterly gigantic margins with fully punched through embossing and dead on centering. Radiant ink colors are seen with luminescent bronzing as well. There is an inverted plate number in the back lower right corner which only serves to enhance the notes value. A flawless example which is certainly destined to be encapsulated by one of the grading services.
