Only Known 3¢ Third Issue with the Back Printed in Black

Fr. 1226 3¢ Third Issue PCGS Fine 15.
From the face, this appears to be a moderately circulated three cent note with the light background. However, the normally green back is printed with black ink. It has been examined by many in the Fractional field with varying levels of magnification, and absolutely no green ink exists, so it is truly a wrong ink error. How it occurred and how it got out of the BEP are truly mysteries that only Clark himself can solve. It is deserving of its own Milton number, so this cataloger who holds that copyright will deem it M#3R3.3.
