    5¢ Second Issue Plain Paper Experimental Back PCGS Gem New 66PPQ.
    PCGS has mysteriously not reported 5c experimentals in its population report, but we are quite confident that this piece would be "top-pop" even if the massively more common fiber paper notes of this same variety were to be included. In any event, this is a wonderful, deeply embossed, high end example of a plain paper 5c second issue reverse. The note has no bronze on either side, but it does have the normal blue "SPECIMEN" and half moon cancels
