1863-1867, 5c Second Issue, Washington, Fr-1232, AU. This note does not show signs of circulation, but a number of flaws hold back the grade. The paper is lightly aged across the note and there is a light tip in the upper right corner of the back. Close examination reveals a total of ten pinholes, all in the area of the portrait, one strong enough to disrupt the bronzing at the top of the oval. The centering on the front is nice, but the back is shifted well to the left, showing a small section of the next note to the right.
