    Description

1863-1867, 10c Second Issue, Washington, Uncut vertical pair, AU. This is a bright uncut pair, with a single fold between the notes. The bronzing is very bright. There is a slight stain along the right edge of the top note and a close lower margin on the bottom note. Fractional blocks and pairs usually realize very little premium over the price of regular issue notes, so they represent an excellent value with respect to their rarity.
