Fractional Currency Shield, With Gray Background.
Less than the normal water staining appears at the bottom of this gray shield. The Spinner-Justice 50¢ notes and the 10¢ note are all hand-signed by Colby-Spinner, while the Grant-Sherman 15¢ note is hand-signed by Jeffries-Spinner. The Second Issue 25¢ note has faded to a slate gray, but many of the other notes are bright and intact. A large tear from side to side has been repaired with tape, which has negatively impacted the notes of the second and third rows. The hand-signed Grant-Sherman note has been reattached with stamp hinges and the same tape. The frame is of a light brown wood that is not a product of the BEP.
