Fr. 1309 Milton 5R25.1e 25¢ Fifth Issue Conrad Jordan Courtesy Autograph PCGS New 62.
Courtesy autographs on Fractional currency are very popular and this example should prove to be no exception. It carries the courtesy autograph C. N. Jordan on the back. Jordan (not Jordon as on the holder) was the 15th Treasurer of the U.S. and served from May 1, 1885 until May 23, 1887. This note is listed with an unknown rarity in the Friedberg Encyclopedia with a last sale in the Chapman Friedman sale of June 3, 1903 as lot 900. While this may not be that exact note, it is for sure very rare.
