    Description

Fr. 1290 Milton 2R25.9c 25¢ Second Issue Inverted Surcharges PCGS Fine 15.
A unique invert when the Milton Encyclopedia was published, remaining so today. It has made many appearances at auction, including the 1903 Friedman sale and the 1915 Parsons sale, and it was acquired by F. T. Joers, from whom Milt purchased it, and then on to Tom O'Mara. Even with that amount of public exposure, no additional examples have surfaced.
