    Description

Milton 4E15F.2a 15¢ Fourth Issue Essay PMG About Uncirculated 50 Net.
Identified by the third party holder as Milton 4P15F.1, in actuality, this is Milton 4E15F.2a. Printed on India paper, it is uniface and does not have a seal, but all the other printing is present. Unlike Milton 4E15F.2, it is not cancelled at the signatures. It has plate number 1789 printed on the top of the selvage and repeated again in pencil to the right of the printed number. The note has a missing notch in the wide top selvage, as well as a minor tape repair on the blank back as mentioned by the third party grading service leading, to the Net grade. All Fourth Issue 15¢ Essays are extremely rare and this piece is a must have for the serious Fractional collector.
