Breathtaking Near Superb Gem Fractional
Fr. 1242 10¢ First Issue PCGS Gem New 66PPQ.As common a type as this is, we rarely seem to encounter truly superb gem notes. The last couple of PMG 66PPQ notes that we have sold averaged around $650 each. Those were both tightly margined and not really worthy of the assigned grade. This piece, has superior ink colors, bright paper and behemoth margins. We aren't sure what is holding this from a superb gem grade but our guess is that the bidders will carry this far past the three-figure price level.
