    Description

Fr. 1230 Milton 1R5.4g 5¢ First Issue Block of Twelve Inverted Backs PCGS Very Fine 30.
Very few invert multiples are known, and this is one of the largest in existence. Milt bought this rare block from the 1967 Siegel sale of the Lilly collection, and it was lot 484 in his sale and lot 16153 in the O'Mara sale. The Fr. 1230 with inverted back is the most common Fractional invert known, with single notes commonly available, so it is hoped that this large block will remain intact.
