    Fr. 1228 5c First Issue Very Choice New. A fresh and bright example of this perforated first issue type that has bold ink colors and good eye appeal. The back is perfectly centered with the face having two jumbo margins and two adequate margins. In our O'Mara sale a Very Choice New of this variety sold for just over $400 and that was almost six months ago now as the fractional market has rapidly advanced in the meantime.
