Fifty Cent Second Issue Experimental Invert Milton 2E50R.4b PMG Uncirculated 62.
This is one of only three undamaged examples of this uncancelled Fifty Cent Inverted Experimental. Milt Friedberg had one (lot 1080) when we sold his collection in January 1997, and Tom O'Mara had an identical but different example (lot 16444) when we sold his collection in May of 2005. This one is ex-Ford. The Friedberg example realized $880, and the O'Mara sold for $1,035. We re-sold the O'Mara piece in our Fall 2007 auction, and at that time it realized $2,300. A handful of these exists punch canceled and stamped Specimen, but it is truly rare in this form.
