    Description

Fr. 1309 25¢ Fifth Issue PCGS Apparent Extremely Fine 40.
This short, thick key variety Walker note has aging paper and received an apparent grade due to a repaired pinhole in the upper right corner. The explanation of this pinhole is that this note was part of an original pack of 100 that was sewn together with needle and thread by the government. This was a common procedure for later Fractionals.
