    Gorgeous Lincoln Proof

Milton 4S50F.1a 50¢ Fourth Issue Proof Choice About New. An incredible item that we have certainly never seen before and one of a very few special printings of the 50¢ Lincoln notes of any form on any paper. The Milt Friedberg Collection did not contain any form of Lincoln Specimen or Proofs. Luckily, this piece is in far better condition than many of the others from this same purchase. There are some minor surface wrinkles, but no tears or other problems, and the note is uncancelled and very well margined. One of the most important pieces in this collection, which contains so many great notes that it becomes hard to select the best. This one is easy--it's one of the best.
