Fr. 1272SP Milton 3P15R.2a 15¢ Third Issue Wide Margin Back Courtesy Autograph Choice About New. This Grant-Sherman Green Back grades Gem but for a single light fold. It bears the courtesy autograph, "A.U. Wyman Treas US 1876-1883." The courtesy autograph is inverted at the bottom of the note, apparently done in error by Treasurer Wyman, as the note is easily mistakenly inverted unless one focuses on the central text. This neat courtesy autograph note is plated on page 96 of Milt's Encyclopedia. Milt acquired it on February 12, 1976 from a Quality Sales auction, and Tom acquired it from our January 1997 sale of Milt's collection.
