Scarce Mule to Non-Mule $1,000 Changeover Pair

Reverse Changeover Pair Fr. 2212-G Mule/2212-G $1,000 1934A Federal Reserve Notes PMG Choice Uncirculated 63.
The first note is a mule with macro face plate number 2 and macro back plate number 2. The second piece is a non-mule with macro face plate number 2 and micro back plate number 5. $1,000 mules for this series are fairly scarce. The 10th edition Schwartz-Lindquist on page 379 lists only one known $1,000 changeover pair of any series and type. This is the first time that we have ever auctioned off a mule to non-mule changeover pair for the $1,000 denomination. With the current market for high denomination notes being considered, this exciting pair should fetch our estimate and beyond. (Total: 2 notes)
