    Description

Fr. 920 $10 1914 Federal Reserve Note Extremely Fine-About New. This Richmond $10 was folded into thirds early in its life leaving it with two folds. The blue overprint is dark, there is natural paper ripple, and the margins are more than ample. There are around two dozen serial numbers recorded for this Friedberg number, but three of those notes are in government collections. This may be the finest known of this number as the census lists only one note in CU and that note was not sold by a traditional "bricks and mortar" auction house. Whether first or second in the pecking order, still a delightful note.
