    Description

Face and Back Specimens for Never Issued Chicago 1934C $1,000 Notes

Fr. 2213-G $1,000 1934C Federal Reserve Note Face and Back Specimens PCGS Gem New 66PPQ; Very Choice New 64PPQ.
Another 1934C Specimen pairing is offered here from this exceptional collection that would be very hard to duplicate, unless you are the winning bidder on all of the examples tonight. The all zero serial number is in the format of "G00000000B." The face centering within balanced margins is right on the money, while the back centering is not perfect by a mere fraction. This is the first and only series for $1,000 notes that has the redesigned district seal, as the word "The" was removed for all other FRNs with the 1934B series, but there were no 1934B $1,000 notes printed. (Total: 2 notes)
